The best times for portraits on Maui are early morning or around sunset, when the light is at its most beautiful. Early mornings offer soft, flattering light, calm blue waters, and a peaceful atmosphere. Sunset brings warm, golden skies, glowing colors, and the beauty of Maui’s waves in motion. Each time of day offers its own unique magic, creating a stunning backdrop for timeless portraits.

Let's get booked
Share your preferred dates, the location on Maui, and the type of session you’re looking for. Once we confirm a date, a deposit secures your booking.

The Day-Before Check-in
I’ll check in with you the day before your session to confirm our meeting time and location and go over any final details.

Picture time
We’ll meet at our agreed-upon location and capture beautiful, natural moments against Maui’s stunning island backdrop.
04.
Delivering photos
Your edited photos will be ready within 7–10 days! You’ll receive a link to your private online gallery, where you can easily download your images in both high-resolution and web-sized formats for printing, sharing, and posting online.
FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
The most important thing is to relax and enjoy the experience! You don’t need to know how to pose perfectly. I’ll guide you throughout the session and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
What should I wear?
✨ Choose soft, coordinating colors. Cream, white, beige, tan, soft blue, sage green, and earthy tones photograph beautifully against Maui’s beaches.
👗 Keep it simple. Avoid large logos, neon colors, and busy patterns that can distract from your face.
🌊 Consider the location. Flowy dresses, linen, and lightweight fabrics look beautiful in the island breeze. Barefoot photos on the beach are always a lovely option!
👨👩👧👦 For family photos: Coordinate your colors rather than wearing identical outfits. Choose 2–3 complementary colors so everyone looks cohesive without matching exactly.
☀️ A few extras: Bring a brush, touch-up makeup, water, and a change of clothes if you’d like.
Most importantly, wear something that feels like you! The goal is to capture your personality and create beautiful memories you’ll love for years to come.
Where will our photoshoot take place?
I offer beach and outdoor sessions at beautiful locations around Maui. Let me know which side of the island you’ll be staying on, and I can recommend a list of locations. We’ll choose a spot with beautiful scenery and the best lighting for your photos!
How many pictures will I receive?
You’ll receive approximately 75 professionally edited images from your one-hour session! 📸 Your photos will be delivered in an online gallery within 7–10 days, where you can download your high-resolution and web-sized images to share and print. I want you to have plenty of beautiful memories to look back on!
Is there a maximum number of people allowed per session?
There’s no maximum number of people per session! For larger groups, we can add extra time to make sure we have enough time to capture everyone. Additional time can be purchased in 15-minute increments.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
I understand that plans can change! If you need to cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice, and your deposit will be refunded. If it rains and we’re unable to reschedule your session, your deposit will also be refunded. My goal is to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible!
